Hands on learning is important as it develops the necessary muscle memory to kick in during emergency situations. The class utilizes demo dogs so that you feel comfortable with positioning of your body and have the confidence of retaining the information.
The Pet Tech PetSaver class is a very detailed 5-hour interactive class with games and drills designed to prepare you of a life-threatening situation of a live animal. These are topics that cannot be rushed through. In the class you will learn about Pet First Aid, Pet CPR & Rescue Breathing, Choking & Bleeding Management, The Snout-to-Tail Assessment, Heat & Cold Injuries, Snake/Insect Bites & Stings and more.
The class includes the 40+ page PetSaver Program handbook. Also, upon successful completion, each participant will receive a certificate and wallet card.
